Known for their sliced-to-order hoagies filled with premium meats and cheeses, Little King also offers a variety of specialty sandwiches, fresh salads, and an extensive catering menu featuring trays, 3-foot, and 6-foot hoagies.
In 1998, the Mustardo family purchased Little King and it has remained in the family ever since, with eldest son Robert currently at the reins. Robert Mustardo started his culinary career in Atlantic City at the Borgata Hotel, where he had the privilege of cooking with world-renowned chefs such as Bobby Flay and Geoffrey Zakarian. After several years of working in some of Philadelphia's finest restaurants, including La Croix, Fork, and Stephen Starr's El Vez, Robert took ownership of Little King in 2016. Since then he has continued to serve Little King's traditional hoagies while adding creative specials to the menu, which have garnered unprecedented praise and attention, along with delicious homemade soups and bread pudding.
Robert thanks Little King's loyal patrons for 50 wonderful years and looks forward to the next 50 years to come!
